Hello! My grandfather Vincenzo Coletta came to Canada from Roio del Sangro. He was (of course!) a cook. He settled in Montreal Quebec and married a Ukrainian woman and was the chef at the city’s finest restaurant. He was born about 1870 and sadly was killed in an explosion in 1937. I know that he had a brother who went to Argentina about the same time as he left for Canada but have been unable to find any relatives. ————————————————————————————– Ciao! Si stabilì a Montreal, nel Quebec, sposò una donna ucraina e divenne lo chef del miglior ristorante della città . È nato intorno al 1870 e purtroppo è stato ucciso in un’esplosione nel 1937. So che aveva un fratello che è andato in Argentina più o meno nello stesso periodo in cui è partito per il Canada, ma non sono riuscito a trovare alcun parente.
